Flying Softly

I used Tim Holtz's Nature's Discovery stamp set for this card. I stamped the foilage with black stazon and then moved the stamp over a bit and pressed lightly to get the shadow effect. Then I stamped the floral and swirls in the corner. The butterflies were inked with clear resist and embossed with a very light lavendar from Stampin-Up. Taped ribbon on back, put on buckle and taped ribbon again. I had to put a glue dot under the buckle to make it stay in one place.

Birds & Clock & Pen & Pencil
I had a lot of fun with this card. Basically I
just started stamping away. The background
is done with the alcohol inks on glossy paper.
All images are stamped with stazon.
Just start stamping and have fun. No worries.
Sometimes things just turn out.

Stamps: The Stampsmith
I did this card last year and for the life of me
I cannot remember how I did the
background on this card. It makes me sick too,
as I really like it and would like to do it
over again. I think it is caryons heated on a
warming plate.
